HU in Modern Times

It’s been written that the word Alleluia is derived from the word HU. It’s believed that originally the word Hallelujah was a combination of the words Allah and HU and this led to the word Allahu. Over time, this became Alleluia and finally became what we know today as Hallelujah. In A Cosmic Sea of Words by Harold Klemp, HU is defined as "The secret name for God.”

Also, according to author Paul Twitchell, HU is an originating spiritual sound: "This is the word mentioned in the Bible as existing before light came into this world: 'In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.’" This line of thinking continues in explaining the derivation of the word HU. The word “human,” which begins with HU, is considered to refer to our potential as God-conscious beings.
